Thanks for your comment, yes your observations are correct. Their approach is very much to focusing on using AI tools to help the journalists not to replace them. The Guardian's secret sauce is their award winning journalism so the last thing they want to do is anything which might affect that.
I agree I find myself brainstorming using AI, I use the results of these brainstorms as the foundations of any further ideas but as more of use work solo, freelance etc. I can see this becoming more common.

Great interview. I worry about cognitive offloading and becoming too dependent on AI for tasks such as brainstorming and ideas generation. Am I alone?
